Charming apartment in central Stockholm, Sweden
Hello Intervac friends! We are looking for nice exchanges most of the time!
We have a nice, rather big, apartment in a charming part of central Stockholm called Södermalm. Lots of restaurants and shops around and very close to the oldest parts of the city. Very good communications and very easy to get wherever you want to go. If you prefer to stay in the neighbourhoods you will find everything you need for your holiday including the little gem of Fjällgatan just two minutes walk from the door. If you prefer the more bustling city life you'll be in the city centre in 10-15 minutes. We can also offer you a visit on the Swedish countryside as we have an old farmhouse as a second home - not modern but charming! This farmhouse is great in the summer but too cold in the winter...
You're very welcome with proposals - we answer them rapidly!

About Our Family
Hello Intervac-friends!
We are a Swedish family living in the capital of Sweden - Stockholm.
We are two adults, both journalists with a great interest in travel, food and lifestyle but also history, languages and art. The three daughters (14, 17 and 18 years old) are also interested in traveling and likes trying new foods and languages. They are very nice and well behaving (at least when they are in others homes......)
We live in an apartment with 4 rooms (2-3 bedrooms and a rather big livingroom) and the apartment is within walking distance from the city centre of Stockholm. It's on the 5th floor and pretty charming, situated in an area with lots of shops, restaurants and cultural activities. Nearby you also find buses leading out of the city centre if you prefer going to the woods or the Stockholmian archipelago - wonderful year round (almost).
We also have a secondary home that is 2 hours north of Stockholm (by car) which you are free to visit if you like. It's not modern but rather renovated.
We speak Swedish (!), English and French (in a rather touristy way) and are interested in planning for house swaps both in the long term and the short term. Feel free to give us proposals.
We will also help you finding out the best places so that your stay in Stockholm will be the best for you and your family and if you are interested in food and restaurants we will be able to give you really good suggestions - we love that kind of stuff! And if you are interested in craft beer - we will fill up the fridge with local goodies - we love craft beer culture!
Feel free to ask anything - we are ready to answer!
And yes, we will take very good care of your home - that's for sure!

Lifestyle
We are a pretty normal family, working hard and doing lots of familial activities; we all love to go the cinemas, have dinner in restaurants and travelling to new places. And soccer! We also love reading and writing which is good since both parents are journalists.....
