The house offers about 165 m² over several floors, with 4 bedrooms (good for a family of 4 to 5 people, sleeps up to 9 if you have temporary guests), a study, an open mezzanine and a bright 40 m² living/dining room. There's a fully equipped kitchen, 3 bathrooms and a WC on every floor. Behind the house, an enclosed garden (about 150 m²) with a terrace is perfect for children and summer evenings. A full laundry room and 4 bikes are available.

About the neighborhood
Tours is a lively university city about 1 hour from Paris by TGV. It's the ideal base for exploring the Loire Valley: the châteaux, vineyards, markets, and the Loire à Vélo cycle route right on the doorstep.
Our 1930s townhouse sits in the Prébendes neighbourhood, one of the most pleasant residential areas of Tours. It's quiet and leafy, with a beautiful public park close by and the city centre within easy reach.

French-Swedish family, curious and easygoing
We're Emilie (French) and Tomas (Swedish), with our two children, aged 8 and 10. We live in Tours and love cycling, cooking and discovering places slowly. We travel by train rather than by plane whenever we can. We look after other people's homes as we'd want ours looked after, and we're happy to share our favourite local spots with our guests.
For Swedish families in particular: our children are bilingual French/Swedish and would love a language exchange. If you're thinking of a longer stay, your children may be able to attend school in Tours during your visit, and we're happy to share what we know about local schools.
