Welcome to our home in Montélimar, in the beautiful Drôme region of southern France! 🇫🇷☀️
We are a French-Dutch family of four and we have lived in this house for several years. It is a large, comfortable and welcoming family home where we love spending time together.
Our house is approximately 180–200 m², with 6 bedrooms, so there is plenty of space for a family or even for grandparents or friends visiting.
The house was fully renovated in 2018 and is comfortable for everyday family life. We also have a private garden of approximately 650 m², where the children can play and where you can enjoy the French sunshine and long summer evenings. 🌿
We are located in Montélimar, a lively town in the Drôme, ideally situated between Lyon and Avignon and at the gateway to Provence. From here, you can easily discover beautiful villages, markets, rivers, the Ardèche, the Drôme valley and Provence.
We particularly enjoy the fact that our home is a great base for exploring the region while still being a comfortable place to simply relax and enjoy family life.
Our home is a real family home, rather than a holiday rental. We would therefore love to welcome people who will appreciate it and take care of it as carefully as we do. ❤️
We are experienced with home exchanges and we believe that trust, communication and respect are the most important things in a successful exchange.
🌷 Why are we offering our home?
We are planning a very special family adventure: we would like to spend the 2027–2028 school year living in the Netherlands.
We would therefore be particularly interested in welcoming a Dutch family who might dream of experiencing life in southern France, while allowing us to experience everyday life in the Netherlands.
We are mainly looking for a long-term exchange, ideally for several months or potentially for most/all of the school year, but we are open to discussing different arrangements.
We are particularly interested in Overijssel, Gelderland, the Veluwe and the area around Zwolle, although we are open to other parts of the Netherlands.
We would be very happy to get to know each other first and see whether our homes and our plans could be a good match. 😊
