We are an Irish/UK couple with a family of 3. We are excited to start our Intervac journey as a family, but it is not new to us, as Maureen’s family exchanged their home multiple times growing up in Ireland, and they visited many locations and countries.
We are open to many locations, we enjoy traveling with our children and welcome your interest and suggestions! If you have any questions about our home and location, or dates, please message us.

Nestled in the peaceful neighborhood of Westborough, 30 miles west of Boston, our spacious family home is the perfect suburban retreat, while being within a 40m drive to the city, 1h10 from the coast. Situated near scenic wooded trails and a pond, you’ll have the chance to spot local wildlife like hawks and opossums. Our backgarden/yard is teeming with chipmunks, squirrels, frogs, and birds.

The home has 4 generous double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large kitchen, and a bright conservatory with large amount of natural light. The back deck overlooks an array of birdfeeders, making it an ideal place to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
For those rainy days, we have a large, dedicated art and craft room, perfect for creativity and family fun.

Located just a short drive from the local town with restaurants, groceries, library, golfing and churches, you’ll find everything you need nearby. Plus, the area offers plenty of exciting day trip options, including Boston, the beautiful Berkshires in Western Mass (1.5/2h drive), Cape Cod Seashore (1h15 or longer, depending on location), New Hampshire’s picturesque lakes (1-2h), and with a one-hour drive, you can reach the stunning Maine coastline.
For Winter visits, there are multiple ski options locally and within 1-2 hr drive.
We are 10m drive from trainline to Boston, and everywhere else is very accessible by car.

We have 2 indoor cats that would need daily feeding and cat litter changes, this would make exchanges easier for us. We can discuss lodging them if it is an issue.
We are open to you using our car.

Local airport is Boston Logan, but we are also close to Worcester (ORH), Providence RI (PVD), and Hartford Bradley CT (BDL) airports.

Vacation/holidays and are listed. For Aug 2026 dates. We are in particular interested in swapping with a family from Iceland 🇮🇸 such that we can view the solar eclipse on August 12th . but we are not just held to that idea- we welcome your comments!
