A two floor apartament with a view of the Baggens bay, Stockholm
A two floor apartment with a view of the Stockholm Archipelago. There is a balcony where you can enjoy your breakfast or dinner in Saltsjöbaden outside Stockholm. This place has got a very special cultural history. Many of the wooden villas was built in late 1900th century for the aristocratic families as summer holiday houses.
Our flat is one of four in a big villa from the 1930's.
It is 25 minutes with bus to central Stockholm where you can visit The Old Town, museums, shops, the Royal palace and see the different parts of Stockholm.

Nearest Airport: Arlanda - 60 km
In Saltsjöbaden there is the old Grand Hotel and Vår Gård that have a delicious A la Carte menu.
The surroundings offer many pleasant and beautiful walks. The bird life is quite spectacular. Our favorite are the grebes. Just down the street you will find the Hotellviken (bay) where the birds flourish. Also in winter time the nature around here is something special.
There are a few art galleries and cafés on walking distance. There is a commercial center in Saltsjöbaden (Tippen), seven minutes by bus or ten minutes by bike.
The bus to central Stockholm leaves every ten or twenty minutes and is close by, 6 minutes away. The trip to Slussen - Stockholm takes 25 minutes. You can take it back to Saltsjöbaden every night until 1 am. There are also other night buses.

About Our Family
Hello,
We are two teachers at upper secondary school. Marcelo teaches maths and chemistry and Gunilla teaches social science and Swedish language.
We are 57 and 59 years old and really enjoy traveling, both to cities and natural reserves and other exciting places.
We both like long walks, enjoying food and wine, art and theater, architecture and sight seeing.
We have done house exchanges in France, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland and New York.
Marcelo has got three grown up children and Gunilla has one son. Though they do not travel with us.
