A gorgeous beach house right beside the sea and just 45 mins from Dublin city centre.
Ithaca is a recently renovared 2/3 bedroom beach house in the village/small town of Skerries about 20 kms north of Dublin airport. Skerries is a small community based fishing village/town with a popuation of about 12,000. Skerries has plenty of restaurants, pubs, sports clubs, shops within a 2/3 minute walk from the house. Dublin, the capital city of Ireland, is a very easy 35 minute commute by regular train servise and buses.

Lifestyle
We are both retired. We are a well traveled couple including work committments in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa and holidays all over Europe, USA, South Africa, Far East, Australia.
We have previosly had one house exchange in South Africa in 2009 which was very satisfactory.
We would like to exchange houses with similarly retired couple living reasonably close to an airport with direct connections to Dublin and with good public transport. We enjoy a quiet life but like to visit local bistros, brassieries, places of historical interest, wineries, beaches, canals, forests etc
