The apartment features three bedrooms, one of them very spacious, an open-plan kitchen and living area, and two full bathrooms. Everything has been recently renovated, offering a modern, bright, and comfortable space. The apartment is exterior, with plenty of natural light, and the building has an elevator and step-free access, making it suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
The apartment is located in the Riazor area, one of the most emblematic and desirable neighborhoods in A Coruña. It combines residential charm with a lively atmosphere, wide avenues, green spaces, and immediate access to the sea. The area is known for its pleasant seaside walks, proximity to the beach, and relaxed yet vibrant local life.
Right across the street from the apartment there is a large supermarket offering all essential services, including bakery, butcher, fishmonger, and everyday groceries. You will also find a pharmacy, bakery, and a wide selection of excellent restaurants nearby, where you can enjoy traditional Galician cuisine such as pulpo a feira and fresh seafood, as well as modern and international options.
Thanks to its outstanding location, you can easily walk to the city center, reach Santa Margarita Park in just five minutes, and be at Riazor Beach within a short walk. The apartment is also very close to the Opera House and the Riazor Stadium. The seafront promenade is only one minute away, and from the apartment you can also walk to the Tower of Hercules, a Roman lighthouse and the oldest lighthouse in the world still in operation.
It is an ideal area for travelers who prefer not to rely on a car. However, if needed, the apartment is next to Plaza de Pontevedra, one of the city’s main transport hubs, where numerous bus lines connect you with all areas of A Coruña and nearby towns.
The community is quiet, mainly residential, and made up of local neighbors, ensuring a peaceful and pleasant environment both day and night.

Miguel and his wife are very quick and responsive at communication and answering questions, which is always a good sign. One of their family members was on hand when we arrived at their flat and explained keys, refuse recycling etc. We were able to contact him when we had questions and he was a fount of local knowledge and was very kind. Their very comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated flat is in the perfect location for the beach and for walking to the historical centre of A Coruna, and had everything we wanted for our stay. We had a wonderful holiday, and Miguel even sent us pictures of our cat during the exchange, reassuring us how well she was being looked after! Our house was immaculate when arrived home, and Miguel and his family have been lovely throughout the exchange. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Miguel and his family as exchange partners, and we would love to return their flat in A Coruna one day.

Two Spanish retired couples seeking a home exchamge in English-Speaking areas
We are a retired couple, aged 75 and 73. Our three children are fully independent and we do not have grandchildren.
We both worked in the public healthcare system — one as a physician and the other as a nurse — for over 40 years. Now we truly enjoy our free time, especially playing golf, reading, traveling, and pursuing other relaxed hobbies.
We will be traveling together with another retired couple, very close friends of ours, who share similar interests and lifestyles. Therefore, the home exchange would involve four retired adults, all responsible, respectful, and accustomed to caring for a home as if it were our own.
