We have a great garden in which to enjoy nature. You can hear cows, sheep, pheasants, the cuckoo (in May) and birds, lots and lots of birds. There is great walking in our locality - you can be on a great route just by walking onto the road we live on! There are many mapped out walking trails in the area, along the East Clare Way. Two bikes are available to exchangers - there are nice cycles around here and quite a few lakes, including Lough Derg, and Lough Bridget. Fishing is popular here and there is a golf club - East Clare Golf Club about 7km from our house.

We are 25 minutes from the towns of Ennis and Killaloe, in county Clare, and 30 minutes from Limerick city. We're an hour from the Atlantic coast at Lahinch or Spanish Point, County Clare, with onwards easy access to the Burren. We would consider exchanging cars as well as homes, but that is not necessary for us. The lovely lakeside village of Mountshannon in East Clare has an arts festival that runs at the end of May. We have one cat we are very fond of, and we would want exchangers to feed and be nice to our cat, and we would return the favour for any animals in homes we exchange with.
