House with garden in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Our comfortable family home is just a 20min. bike or tram ride from Amsterdam city centre. There are three bedrooms. One with a queensize bed. One with a single/double bed, and one with another single/double bed. The south facing garden opens onto a park and a small canal which gives access to a nearby lake. Our guests can use our canadian canoe to paddle through some small canals to the nearby lake which has clean swimming water and beach. We also have a small motorboat available. There are excellent public transport connections to city centre. Trams 13, 7 stop a short walking distance from our house. Bus line 369 a short walk from our house connects directly to Schiphol airport.
Shops, park with adventure playground, animal farm, city beach and swimming pool are all within walking distance of the house.
From here the coast can be easily reached by car in about 30 mins. and by bike in just over an hour. There are several bikes available and lots of beautiful bike routes to choose from. Our car, a Volvo V50 is available for our guests.
Most of you I'm sure are aware of the many attractions Amsterdam has to offer and we feel our bit of "countryside" so close to this beautiful city will give you that bit extra.
We have done over ten exchanges so far and look forward to many more in the future.

Good tram connections (tram 13; tram7) to city centre about 7 mins walk from house. South facing garden opens onto a beautiful park for nice walks and running which also has a children's farm and adventure playground. Public swimming pool and city beach at 5-10 mins walk from house. Beautiful house, very calm Near public transport and Shop
L'échange avec Ray et Sandra s'est merveilleusement bien passé. Leur maison cosy nous ravi et l'échange régulier avec eux par message fut très confortable tout au long du séjour. Très prévenant leur conseils et leurs démarches nous ont permis de profiter au mieux de notre séjour. Nous avons également saisie l'occasion de cette bonne entente pour nous retrouver autour d'un repas à la fin de notre séjour et ça n'a fait qu'améliorer l'expérience et la rendre encore plus humaine.

We are a family of six. Ray is Irish and has four daughters aged 19 to 39. These days we generally travel with our daughter Nuala (19), while some of the other girls and/ or friends may join. Sandra is Dutch.
We have a lovely cat named Mochi.
