We live in a suburban area of Lund, which is an ancient town with an old cathedral and a university, situated in the very south of Sweden. Our house and the whole area were built about 30 years ago. The house is a semidetached house with a garden, situated in a quiet street and includes a living room, a study, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.
You can easily visit Copenhagen and Denmark by train or car directly from Lund.

Lund is situated only 20 km NE of Malmö which is the third town of Sweden.
From Lund you can easily reach Copenhagen by car or train by the Öresund Bridge.
Within 15 to 60 minutes by car, you can reach either the west, south or east coast with their many and long beaches (the nearest is only 10 km away). You will find various kind of coasts; flat, steep, sand and cliffs.
The southern part of Sweden (called Skåne) is quite flat in the most southern part and is an important agricultural area in Sweden. In the middle and northern part you find steeper hills, forests and big lakes.
Skåne is famous for its beech forests and ridges and within 30 minutes by car you reach several lakes. The eastern part of Skåne (Österlen) is known for it's special light and a lot of painters find many places for inspiration here.

BE452We have experienced the exchange as very pleasant! Our exchange friends had a very clean house, which was very pleasant to stay in. No question was too much for them in the preparation for the exchange. And Sweden is a fantastically beautiful country to go to... Definitely worth repeating!

FR020392L’accueil était généreux et fidèle au site. La documentation laissée était riche, la maison tout à fait adaptée à l’échange. La ville et la région ( plages, paysages, promenades, musées et monuments … ) très agréables et diversifiées.
