Large 4 bed family house with garden on edge of world famous historic University city of Cambridge (UK) less than 1hr train ride from London.

We live in an attractive village (with a pretty village green) on the edge of the historic university city of Cambridge. It is very convenient for the city centre, being only 10 mins drive (or bus ride) or 20mins cycle. The city is world renowned for its magnificent university architecture dating back to the 17th century, built around parks, gardens & the river Cam. One of the highlights of visiting Cambridge is to take a 'punt' (flat bottomed boat) along the river through the historic University setting. The city is very family friendly and very easy to walk or cycle around. (SEE MAP FOR MORE INFO ON CAMBRIDGE). There are many English language schools run in the city.
Our large (200sq.m.) detached house is light, spacious and contemporary in style, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It is stylish with wooden floors throughout the ground floor. The living rooms are spacious, including a large, comfortable lounge leading to the garden, a well-equipped kitchen with large dining area and breakfast bar, and a utility room with dishwasher and tumble dryer.
We have two large bedrooms upstairs, one master with king-size double bed and en-suite bathroom and one with a double bed, as well as a family bathroom. There are also two bedrooms downstairs, one with a double bed and attached shower room and one with a single sofa-bed that we use as a study.
Double doors from the lounge lead out to a garden with decked terrace and garden furniture. At the front of the house, there is parking space for two cars. We would treat your home with respect & care as we would hope you would ours.
